Sound Stylists was founded in 1987. From inception we have grown into leaders in the field of professional sound, AV, lighting and staging equipment rental.

Since the formation of Sound Stylists, we have gained the reputation for delivering outstanding service and state-of-the-art equipment to our clients. This is only possible due to our professional staff and equipment that conforms to international specifications. This is repeatedly echoed by our long standing clients who bear testament to our all round professionalism.

Inventory

We are able to supply anything from a single microphone up to turnkey solutions for full rock concerts. We have a large inventory of equipment, ranging from our flagship Coda & GeoD concert rigs to small powered monitors. We are constantly expanding our inventory and pride ourselves in keeping pace with technology and developing trends.

    Sound

The need for smaller, more discreet, yet more powerful speakers is on the rise. We stock a full range of speakers to cover every requirement. These include, JBL, NEXO, Coda and Quests to name a few.

Line array systems such as the Coda LA-8’s offer dual purpose, they are not only perfect for conference sound, but can easily be converted into a powerful entertainment system for evening gala events.

    Lighting

With over 1100 generic, LED and moving lights on hand, our Lighting Department is one of the largest in the country.

With support from leading brands such a Robe, Martin, High End, ADB and Jans, we ensure our technicians are constantly in the know with the latest equipment and lighting technologies.

LED’s are fast replacing generic lighting. These are far more energy efficient, durable, emit less heat and have a longer span. With our continuous effort to support greener technologies, more than half our lights are LED energy saving.

Audio Visual

AV technology is rapidly advancing with shifts from SD to HD, large format displays and the greener option of video conferencing. Our AV Department stocks a full range of projectors, screens, playback solutions and multi screen presentation systems.

Our hard drive playback systems offer a new generation of video servers with unquestionable broadcast quality and reliability.

Our range of video servers allow you to creatively combine images, video, text, sound and light into any presentation.

Rigging

Our extensive inventory of trussing and motors allows us to supply the largest and most complex rigging needs. Our in-house staff of rigging specialists design state-of-the-art rigging and automation components for both rental and custom production projects. We have the experience to provide the safest and most reliable solutions for any rigging requirement.

Our Staging Department is Sound Stylists latest gem. With our in-house designers and engineers working hand in hand, we are now able to offer greater creative staging solutions that best suit your requirements.
